United by a common purpose, they dedicate their time, expertise, and compassion to ensuring every child receives the care, dignity, and opportunity they deserve.

Mr. S S Srinath
President

Mr. S S Srinath

Mr. Srinath is an engineer by qualification, having graduated from RV College in 1974. He founded an electrical contracting firm that later grew into a manufacturing industry. His professional career includes serving as the Indian Director of a multinational software company and over a decade of service at Vishvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant, Bhadravati, where he was Secretary of the Officers' Association and Joint Secretary of the All India Steel Executives Federation of India.

Active in leadership from his student days, he served as Secretary of the Bangalore City unit of Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP). He has held key roles in several educational and social institutions, including Trustee of Janaseva Vidya Kendra, Managing Trustee of Gurukula Samsthana, and Trustee and present President of Nachiketha Manovikasa Kendra.

He is the Founder of Bilgiri Education Society, established 34 years ago, which runs classes from LKG to 10th standard. With over 350 students and more than 20 years of successful 10th standard results, the institution reflects his strong social commitment, especially towards education for low-income communities.

Shri N. Narasimha Shenoy
Secretary

Shri N. Narasimha Shenoy

Shri N. Narasimha Shenoy is a dedicated social worker, who has devoted his life to the rehabilitation and empowerment of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A member of the Canara Bank family, he combined his professional career with a deep sense of social responsibility to serve one of the most underserved sections of society.

His vision was to create an inclusive institution within city limits that would reduce the physical, emotional and financial strain on children and their families.

Despite financial challenges and dependence on donations, Shri Shenoy's commitment has remained unwavering. He firmly believes that "all that these children need is love and support, and they will be able to stand on their own feet one day."

His life and work stand as a powerful example of compassion, perseverance, and selfless service. Through Nachiketha Manovikasa Kendra, Shri N. Narasimha Shenoy has touched and transformed countless lives, giving children with special needs a chance to live with dignity, purpose and hope.

Prabhakar Khasyap
Treasurer

Prabhakar Khasyap

Prabhakar Khasyap was born in 1959 in Mangalore. He completed his entire education in Bengaluru and is a graduate in Commerce (B.Com) from Bangalore University.

He began his professional career in the financial sector and later transitioned into the hospitality industry. He was associated with the well-known Kamat Group and served with Kamat Yatriniwas (P) Ltd. in the capacity of Human Resources Manager, contributing significantly to organizational development and people management.

From an early age, Mr. Khasyap has been actively involved as a Swayamsevak with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), reflecting his long-standing commitment to social service and nation-building. He proudly identifies himself as a Bharatiya and a Hindu Sanathani.

B. V. Rao
Trustee

B. V. Rao

B. V. Rao is a senior consulting engineer with over five decades of professional experience. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from NITK in 1968 and served with Tata Consulting Engineers for 18 years. Subsequently, he founded Purna Design Engineers Pvt. Ltd., where he now serves as Chairman Emeritus.

Born in 1946, Mr. Rao continues to remain actively associated with Nachiketha, regularly visiting the institution even at the age of 80. He is ably supported by his wife, Smt. Vidya Rao (aged 76), who is proficient in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and English.

Together, the couple rendered dedicated service for over five years with Bharat Vikas Parishad, Karnataka South Pranth, undertaking extensive outreach and organizational work across several parts of India, including Delhi, Gujarat, Chennai, and Haridwar.

Bhagavan P. L.
Trustee

Bhagavan P. L.

Bhagavan P. L., aged about 58 years, is a seasoned professional engaged in the export business. He actively contributes to social and cultural initiatives and presently serves as Vibhagha Samyojak of Devalaya Samvardana Samithi.

He has been associated with Nachiketha Manovikasa Kendra Trust (NMVK) as a Trustee for several years, offering his guidance and support towards the Trust's mission and activities.
